Great Oaks Kids

A fun and encouraging environment for your children to learn about Jesus.

We offer kids ministry for ages 3 months to 3rd grade during our Sunday services. We are committed to providing a safe and positive experience for your child. Our Sunday classes include an activity, a Bible lesson, singing and a snack.

If you are a first time visitor, we have volunteers who will welcome you and help your child register for the age appropriate classroom. You can also pre-register your child to help the check-in process go smoothly on Sunday.

Connection Groups

We want to help you find belonging and friendship at Great Oaks. Connection Groups are one of the key ways we do that! Our groups meet in the evening throughout the week in homes. Each week you can expect the opportunity to get to know people, a time of prayer and opening the Bible to apply God's word to our lives.

Equipping Classes

Each semester we offer equipping classes to help you deepen you understanding of the Bible and grow in your faith. Our classes are also an opportunity to get to know more people as we learn together in community. Throughout the year we will offer classes on a variety of topics such as theology, practical living and studying books of the Bible.

Men's & Women's Ministries

Every ministry at Great Oaks is designed to help you grow in your relationship with Jesus. One of the patterns we see in the New Testament is men and women discipling one another in gender-specific environments. Each semester, our hope is to offer opportunities for friendship and discipleship for men and women in our church and community.

Men's Bible Study

Wednesday, February 25 at 6:15 am

Hy-Vee on Adams

Men, join us for a 10-week study through the book of James beginning February 25. This group will meet Wednesdays from 6:15–7:15am. Our goal is to help you find belonging with other men and grow to become more like Jesus. The cost is $5 to cover the study booklet. Sign up through the link below!

We are excited for Emily Jensen to be joining us! She is an author, podcaster, and the co-founder of Risen Motherhood. It will be a powerful night hearing how God uses the Gospel to transform us in whatever season we are in.
