Hearing this made me think of the time I have spent coaching or helping other coaches in track and field. Like what we are doing in home churches, the good coaches have realized that it is the small things that they emphasize on a consistent basis are the things that the athletes buy into and even adopt into their own day to day actions. So if we are emphasizing things like having a mindset of reaching out and building relationships with those who don't know the Lord or encouraging one another with the things that God does in our lives, then not only will they naturally become a part of home church but they will result in transformation of how people live day to day and see God working in their lives and through them in the lives of others. I was very encouraged by this. Thanks Paul!

These are such helpful ideas especially as we are establishing our home churches. Thinking about the culture we want to create through our meetings and leadership is very key.

I especially like the Biblical icebreakers provided in the list of icebreakers that was provided. These along with asking core value questions, also, gets people to warm up to speak about spiritual things.
In addition, I appreciate the balance we can offer people by inviting them to share an encouragement or tradition.
